Director, Engineering – Transitional Energies

Your Position

Welcome to Transitional Energies. We work within the energy sector from Oil and Gas to PtX and CCUS, executing projects onshore and offshore. You will be leading a multiple disciplined team of engineers delivering designs across the .

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg – the hub of the Danish energy industry on a vibrant waterfront setting where innovation thrives. The position is full-time, with an expectation of travel as required.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy for feasible and scalable engineering
• Lead and motivate the engineering team
• Drive profitable growth
• Collaborate across teams for smooth project delivery and continuous improvement
• Build collaboration nationally and internationally
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring safety and quality

Your Profile & Qualifications

We are looking for an outgoing and proactive Director who is passionate about driving change and develop our engineering department in a global context. You prefer to optimize and develop your organisation. You have a proactive and organized approach to work and thrive in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• A strong educational background, with a degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred) and relevant leadership education.
• Experience from similar role – Engineering leadership of multi discipline engineering thru conceptualization, FEED, equipment specification and detailing for construction. 
• Results-driven and decisive leadership style.
• Strong commercial mindset and strategic perspective.
• Proven experience in global sourcing of engineering and building strong collaborative frameworks with engineering sub-contractors.
• A deep understanding of safety standards and a commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.
