HSE Manager

Your position

In your new position as HSE Manager in the HSEQ division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated HSE team whose mission is to promote and enhance health, safety, and environmental practices across Semco Maritime. You will lead a dedicated team of HSE specialists and have the chance to lead HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations and driving continuous improvement. Above all, your work will make a real difference in the global energy sector.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 15-20 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the HSE strategy and ensuring compliance with internal and external HSE standards.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining the HSE Management System in compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Leading HSE audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure continuous improvement.
• Driving HSE training and awareness programs to ensure all personnel maintain required competencies.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance HSE performance and best practices.
• Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HSE professional who is passionate about driving safety culture transformation and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You have a structured and collaborative approach to your work and are eager to influence the future of HSE at Semco Maritime.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in situational management and conflict resolution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE leadership or management.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and ability to lead compliance initiatives.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
