Project Engineer – Service Operations

Do you have a strong technical mindset and a passion for structure, quality, and well-prepared offshore execution? Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that service campaigns are executed safely, efficiently, and with the highest documentation standards? Then you might be our new Project Engineer within Service Operations at Semco Maritime.

Your position

As our new Project Engineer, you will be a vital part of the Service Operations project team, where your primary responsibility will be to prepare and maintain the documentation required for safe and efficient offshore execution of service campaigns.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, HSE, and engineering disciplines to ensure that all documentation — including RAMS, checklists, and execution plans — is complete, accurate, and aligned with project and client requirements. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring documentation excellence and quality across our service projects.

At Semco Maritime, safety is a core value, and through your work you will actively contribute to maintaining and strengthening our safety culture by ensuring that offshore activities are thoroughly prepared and documented.

Your place of work will be at either Global HQ in Esbjerg, in Hamburg or in Emden in Germany, with occasional travel related to service campaigns. The position is full-time.

“High-quality documentation is the foundation for safe offshore execution. In this role, you will make a direct impact on how our projects are prepared and delivered.”  - Senior Manager, Service Projects, Klaus Iversen Grau

  • Creating and maintaining offshore checklists and readiness documentation
  • Ensuring documentation complies with internal standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Supporting Project Leaders and Site Managers with documentation reviews and updates

To succeed in this role, you likely have:

  • Experience from project engineering, service operations, or offshore execution (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of documentation requirements for offshore or industrial projects
