Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and requires occasional travel, typically ranging from 0-15 days, depending on client and partner locations.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

As a Project Manager you will ensure that customers are well informed and that any unforeseen issues are handled in cooperation with the customers. You have a strong visible profile and communicate well on all organisational levels. You take initiative and approach your tasks solution-oriented and with good energy.

• Day-to-day project planning and alignment of expectations in cooperation with project team.
• Complete quality projects according to budget and timeline.
• Status reporting with focus on project economy, quality, progress and milestones.
• Team and sub-supplier management according to Semco values.
• Support the engineering team in the technical decision process

Your profile and qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you have a technical background within telecommunication, electrical instrumentation, automation, Electronic Engineering, Marine Engineering, or similar disciplines. 

Furthermore, you can demonstrate experience in management of international technical projects from a project-based industry – preferably the offshore industry and within telecommunication systems. 

• Proven experience as Project Manager.
• Participation in equipment manufacturing and/or automation solutions projects.
• Knowledge of various project management tools and models, ensuring appropriate solutions for your project and team.
• Ability to see the big picture, addressing finance, HSEQ, and customer requests with determination and experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Fluency in oral and written English

As a person you possess a commercial customer-centric mindset. You communicate proactively and methodically with an ability to engage your team and to create the special sense of team spirit through a situation-based approach.
