Student Assistant for Procurement - Global Sourcing Excellence

Your position 
As our new Student Assistant in Semco Maritime you will be a vital part of our Procurement team, assisting with different exciting tasks related to optimizing our business processes in our Global Sourcing Excellence Team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership and manage your own tasks within our Team.

Your tasks & responsibilities 
You will be supporting our Global Sourcing Excellence Lead with a lot of exciting tasks related to innovating our procurement processes and establishing sustainable supply chains. You will gain unique insight and experience in change management and business development.

You will have a broad variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Supplier qualification process follow-ups
• Digitalization of our procurement processes
• Supporting the development of a sustainable supply chain
• Business optimization
• Supporting the procurement team with ad-hoc and administrative tasks

Your profile & qualifications 
We imagine that you are organized, structured and quality-minded in your work. Furthermore, you should have a high drive, be pro-active and motivated. This position calls for an ambitious and self-driven person, as we have a lot of exciting work to do, because Semco Maritime is growing!

To succeed in this position, we expect that you:

• You are currently enrolled in a relevant higher-level education program and are in the early stages of your studies.
• Have good communication skills in English, written and oral
• Have good IT-skills and are an experienced user of MS Office
• Are an avid team-player with great interpersonal skills
• Are available to work 15 – 20 hours a week during regular business hours, 08:00 am – 05:00 pm
