Your position
In your new position as Electrical Engineer (f/m/d) in the Renewable Energy Division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Correctives Team whose mission is to handle multiple corrective/repair jobs simultaneously. You will assess the fault, plan the repair, write offers and ensure a successful execution. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.
Your place of work will be at our lovely office space in Hamburg, Germany, right at the pulse of most of our customers. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel max. 30 days per year.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, Corrective Maintenance (f/m/d), you will be responsible for planning all electrical repair jobs for one of our biggest client’s offshore converter platforms.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Finding and assessing technically and commercially suitable solutions
- Receiving and completing tickets
- Writing offers and work instructions detailing the suggested approach to the repairs
- Maintaining communication with the client and addressing their inquiries and concerns
- Aligning the next steps and handing over the repair plan to the Project Managers
- Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards, in all activities
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a communicative and proactive Electrical Engineer (f/m/d) who is passionate about corrective maintenance and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work and look forward to applying your knowledge in the renewable energy sector.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- University degree in electrical engineering or apprenticeship paired with practical experience as an electrician or similar
- Expertise in German industry standards, regulations, and technical practices
- Prior experience within the energy sector, specifically offshore is a bonus
- Prior certification or designation as a Qualified electrician (EFK) is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS
- Excellent stakeholder management skills paired with a commercially oriented service-mindset
- Fluency in English, with additional German language skills being a distinct advantage for effective customer communication
