Job Definition:
The Telecom Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers while providing technical leadership and engineering support to assigned projects. This hybrid role combines people management with hands-on technical oversight and departmental support to ensure successful project execution, delivery of high-quality and standardized engineering solutions, and the professional growth of team members.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Engineering Management
o Drive engineering document standardization to ensure consistent and high-quality documentation.
o Manage and maintain engineering software tools, licenses, and version controls.
o Establish and enforce engineering workflows, processes, and quality assurance procedures.
o Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and technical innovations.

2. People Management
o Supervise, mentor, and develop engineers reporting to the manager.
o Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and support career progression.
o Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, ensuring employee engagement and satisfaction.

3. Project Engineering Lead
o Provide technical guidance and decision-making support for telecom projects.
o Ensure engineering solutions meet project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
o Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic & Electrical Engineering (EEE), Computer or IT & System Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Telecom Engineering and project delivery in Oil & Gas or Renewable Industry.
• Experience in System Integration projects is preferred.
• Prior People Management experience is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
