Senior Contract Manager - Renewables

Your position
In your new position as Senior Contract Manager in the Renewables division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Contract Management Team whose mission is to ensure effective and compliant contract management and execution across large-scale EPC and service projects. You will have the chance to drive and improve our contract management framework while ensuring the commercial success of the projects.
Your place of work will be in one of our offices in Denmark (Esbjerg or Copenhagen) or in Poland (Gdynia), depending on your preference and location. The position is full-time, and you can expect to have 10-30 days of travel per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Contract Manager, your responsibility will, first of all, be to conduct excellent contract life cycle management of EPC contracts and consortium agreements which includes:
- Contract reviews during the tender phase, ensuring flowdowns to supply chain contracts, and participation in EPC and service contract negotiations
- Raising awareness of contract terms within the project team, and acting as the project’s advisor on project contract and commercial matters
- Identifying and managing commercial risks in collaboration with project teams
- Close cooperation with the project procurement lead to ensure that flow-down contract rights and obligations are maintained
- Ensuring contract compliance and governance
- Management of variations and claims
- Preparing reports to management and customers and ensuring structured communication
- Capturing lessons learned and contributing to continuous process improvement
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a confident and collaborative contract management professional, who is passionate to ensure commercial success, progress and the safe and high-quality execution of projects. You have a proactive and structured approach to your work and are eager to optimize and improve.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A master’s degree in law/commercial law or a related commercial discipline
- Preferably 5+ years of experience with large scale EPC contracts in the offshore industry or any related industry
- Extensive experience with contract and claims management
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is expected, fluency in German (written and spoken) will be an advantage
Furthermore, it is important that you have a flexible, empathic and team-oriented mindset as you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
